Your EZFlora is an 8-zone irrigation unit capable of controlling valves either individually, or in program sequences in response to single INSTEON or X10 commands. Separate timers are stored by
EZFlora to prevent a valve to be left ON indefinitely, and for valve timing of up to four independent irrigation programs.
EZFlora depends on an external PC/controller for programming its timers, and to initiate independent or sequenced valve control. Once triggered,
EZFlora carries out valve timing and sequencing independently.
EZFlora has a built-in power line interface and requires only a 24VAC irrigation transformer to power the valves. Programming and control of
EZFlora is done through the power line.
INSTEON and X10 compatibility means virtually unlimited connectivity, including wireless networks and the Internet.
EZFlora is easy to install and operate, requiring only an external 24VAC transformer that can be conveniently attached to the pass-thru outlet. Please refer to the quick-setup guide that comes with your

Your EZFlora may be used in conjunction with our EZSrve and several third-party home automation programs such as mControl from Embedded Automation or Indigo from Perceptive Automation. Support from additional manufacturers is underway.
Should one desire to run EZFlora without any of of the above home automation packages, the
EZFlora configuration and set-up utility can be downloaded from the free downloads area. This is a program that runs under MS-Windows and allows you to use your INSTEON PLC to communicate with
EZFlora affording the following:

Quick EZFlora diagnostics for confirmation of operation
Set up the EZFlora built-in default and program timers for valve run duration times
Set up of timers, resident in the PLC for triggering programs or individual valves at specific times of the week. Once programmed, the PLC can run unattended without a PC
