Your EZSnsRF receiver can pick up signals transmitted by companion transmitters from up to 3,000 ft. All of Dakota Alert's Series 3000 transmitters are compatible and can be used immediately to form a long range network of alarms to trigger actions on Insteon devices.
A common use is for driveway alarms, where the detection of a vehicle can put in motion a chain of events such as turning on a set of lights and sounding a unique chime. Another use is as a panic alarm where multiple devices such as a siren or a telephone dialer can be activated in response to a user pushing a button on a Dakota Alert transmitter.
EZSnsRF makes possible the creation of Insteon events by alarms from multiple wireless sensors.
INSTEON compatibility means virtually unlimited connectivity, including wireless networks and the Internet.
EZSnsRF is easy to install and operate, and it is ready out-of-the-box to distinguish up to 20 uniquely coded wireless devices.
Our partnership with Dakota Alert immediately opens the use of your EZSnsRF to solve real problems in long and short range situations.
Please refer to the quick-setup guide that comes with your EZSnsRF for detailed installation instructions. This quick-guide is also available from the free downloads section.
Your EZSnsRF is easy to use and its operation does not require a home automaton software package. However, as part of the growing family of Insteon-enabled products, your EZSnsRF will be supported by home automation programs such as
HouseLinc from Smarthome, mControl from HomeSeer Technology or Indigo from Perceptive Automation. The command set documentation is also available from the downloads area
