The Harmony automation gateway provides the means to monitor and control small to large networks of devices that use ZigBee PRO, INSTEON and
X10 through an Ethernet connection. Using any web browser such as Internet Explorer, Safari, Chrome or Mozilla, the unit can be set up
and used to monitor and control lighting, irrigation, home theaters, drapes, etc.
Because the unit connects to a computer network through an Ethernet connection,
Harmony can be accessed remotely through the Internet.
Harmony does not require a PC for operation and maintains schedules (timers) and sophisticated "if-then" conditions to
control devices at specific times of the day on particular days of the week and/or in response to device events.
The schedules and events can also be based on offsets from Sunrise/Sunset
automatically calculated from the its geographic location.
In the event of a power loss, a battery-backed up real time clock keeps the time and ensures operation continues seamlessly once
power is restored. Harmony maintains timers and events and takes the appropriate action when required without further intervention by
an outside software application.
ZigBee PRO, INSTEON and X10 compatibility means virtually unlimited connectivity, including wireless networks and the Internet.
Harmony concurrently serves up to 20 client applications including our own Harmony Flash application. Our open programmer's
interface and standards-based platform, enable the future availability of third-party web and PC applications.
EZSrve is easy to install and operate, and its set-up is done through a provided application. This application allows:
Discovery and set up of automation devices in the network.
Configuration of network parameters, geographic location, time of day, etc.
